Today was embarkation day, when all the students got on and
we finally unleashed our moorings and headed out into the Atlantic. Lisa and I were up early and in the library
to await the arrival of twelve boxes of reserve material that had been shipped
to us back in March.
I was also busy refining my presentation to the students during orientation tomorrow, and finalizing the film schedule (more on that later). And we continued answering about a thousand questions. At around noonish we heard and announcement that our first group of students were boarding. Let the games begin!

At around 1700 (5:00 pm) the ship unmoored and we were
off!
A gathering to see us set sail.
